Mesoporous oxide films grown on Sn foil using various anodizing modes in alkaline electrolyte

The mesoporous structures of tin oxide were obtained by a simple method one-stage electrochemical anodizing Sn foil in 1M NaOH various modes. Anodizing the pulse potentiostatic mode allowed determination actual value voltage drop on anode. For first time possibility obtaining films surface using galvanostatic was demonstrated. It found that morphology layers is strongly dependent mode. Based data obtained, two-stage mechanism proposed for growth porous including initial formation layer SnO·xH 2 O which subsequently oxidized to SnO2·xH mesoporouslayer.
